Step 1: Log your habits of using computer
Time Analyzer can automatically monitor which program your focus is currently on, write down the foreground program into log per second, and maintain the activity log for future analyzing. It tracks time usage objectively and forcibly, so that you don’t even need to aware its existing.
Step 2: Analyze your current computer habits
Once you have logged your time for a few days, you can start analyzing the log by clicking the report button. You may be alarmed to see the length of time you spend doing low value jobs. You may also see that you are energetic in some parts of the day, and flat in other parts. It provides features enabling you compare your computer time of some day with the whole week, month, and year. The graph with top 5 processes will be shown in the report. You can also organize the processes into groups, and make the analysis more meaningful and reasonable. The activity log gives you some basis for experimenting. Step 3: Improve your capability to manage time more effectively
After you have analyzed your activity log, it is time to place appropriate emphasis on dissolving barriers that inhibit goal reaching, establishing and sticking to your goals, taking responsibility for your failures and successes, and obtaining the skills you need to obtain your goals, all while effectively managing your time.
